CXO/RISE, a Lumiyo Holdings, LLC initiative, respects the privacy of every member and everyone who contacts us. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who helps us run the site, and the choices you have.
What information we collect
We collect only the personal information we need to run the community and respond to requests:
- Members: full name, professional email address, and company name and title (provided voluntarily upon membership acceptance).
- Invitation requests sent through this website: the role you are interested in (member, sponsor or Guest Host), your name, work email, title and company, and anything else you choose to add in the form, such as your company’s revenue range, who referred you, who from your team would attend, the story you would bring to a dinner, or your LinkedIn profile.
We do not ask for payment information, Social Security numbers, government IDs, health data or any other sensitive personal information.
How we collect information
Personal information is collected only through:
- Direct submission by the member during the membership application or onboarding process
- The “Request an invitation” form on this website
- Email communications you initiate with us
We do not purchase, acquire or receive personal information from any third-party data broker or external source.
How we use your information
We use member information only to run the community: inviting members to dinners and events and communicating about membership. We use information from invitation requests only to review the request, follow up with you, and, if you name a referring member, to speak with that member.
Service providers that help run this website
We use a small number of service providers to host this website and deliver requests to us. They process information on our behalf and only for these purposes:
- Cloudflare hosts this website. Like any web host, it processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare’s privacy policy
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not an automated program, is submitting the invitation form. It evaluates technical signals from your browser for that purpose only. Turnstile privacy addendum
- Cloudflare Web Analytics gives us aggregate counts of page visits. It does not use cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not build a profile of you.
- Resend delivers the contents of the invitation form to our inbox by email. The website itself does not store form submissions. Resend’s privacy policy
How we share your information
We do not sell, rent, share or disclose member personal information to any third party, other than the service providers listed above acting on our behalf. This is stated explicitly in our sponsor agreements and membership contracts. Specifically:
- Sponsors, partners and advertisers are contractually prohibited from receiving member email addresses or contact information
- We do not share personal information with advertising networks or data brokers
- We may disclose information only if required by law or valid legal process, in which case we will notify affected members to the extent permitted by law
How we store and protect your information
Member contact information and invitation requests are stored in a Microsoft Exchange email environment. Access is limited to the community administrator, a single authorized individual. Specifically:
- Email addresses are stored as forwarding aliases within a private, internal distribution list
- The distribution list is not publicly accessible and cannot be used by anyone outside our organization
- Member email addresses are never exposed in email headers or communications sent through the list
- No member email addresses are stored in any public-facing system, shared spreadsheet or third-party CRM
How we communicate with you
We communicate with members only by email, using our private internal distribution list, and only about community membership. If you send an invitation request, we will reply to the email address you provide. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by contacting us at the address below.
Cookies and tracking tools
This website does not set cookies and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking tools. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless, and Cloudflare Turnstile does not use cookies to collect or store information about you. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security measures to protect the site from attacks.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, or to withdraw consent for us to keep your information, email privacy@cxorise.com.
We respond to all requests within 30 days. Members who request deletion will be off-boarded from the community, as contact information is required for membership.
Data retention
We keep member personal information only while membership is active. When membership ends for any reason, member information is removed from our systems within 30 days. We keep invitation requests only as long as needed to review them and follow up; you can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Security
We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction, including restricted system access, strong password requirements, encrypted connections (HTTPS) for this website and its form, and regular review of who has access to member data.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and notify members by email. Continued membership after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
